The Factory

Where Precision Meets Production.

Founded in 2008, NESS Furniture has spent 18 years refining the art of hospitality manufacturing. From our base in Dongguan — China's furniture capital — we operate under three brands: NESS Furniture, Home ComfortX, and Ceramic-Atelier. Together we ship 20–25 containers monthly to the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and across Asia. Our clients include 4- and 5-star hotels, luxury restaurants, private clubs, and high-end residential projects.

Every product that leaves our facility passes through a dedicated in-house QC team — we do not outsource quality assurance. A 3,000 sqm independent showroom, secured under a 10-year lease, displays our full range: indoor and outdoor furniture, concrete products, mirrors, and custom commissions.

The Founder

Lion Zhu.
The Man Behind the Craft.

A graduate in International Trade, Lion Zhu entered the furniture industry in 2005. After years in senior foreign trade roles, he grew disillusioned with an industry that prioritised marketing over manufacturing. In 2008, he founded NESS Furniture with a single conviction: "Return to the essence of manufacturing."

Today, as the company's 100% owner, legal representative, and general manager, Lion remains permanently based at the factory. He personally oversees design reviews, production QC, and key client communication. He speaks fluent English and deals directly with international partners — no intermediaries, no translation gaps.

His management philosophy is simple: "Management by walking around. Prevention over remediation." He reviews drawings before production starts, inspects the workshop floor regularly, and provides final sign-off before any product ships.

Built around him is a core management team, all personally mentored by Lion over the past decade. Each team leader operates with his authority and his eye — the founder's convictions, scaled through the hands of people he trained himself.

Long-term thinking. A 10-year showroom lease. A documented capacity expansion plan from 25 to 35 containers per month. We do not chase short-term margins — we build for decades.

Open doors. We welcome client inspections at any production stage. Our internal QC team answers directly to the founder. If a quality issue arises, we compensate — not negotiate.

One standard. Whether a single bespoke commission or a 50-table hotel project, every piece passes through the same hands, the same checks, the same standards. Because at Mosaic Atelier, we do not have a "budget line."
